  The Titleist Pro V1 is arguably the best ball you can play. Tons of tour pros turn to it and you could too.
  
  
  
  The Pro V1 is made up of a three-piece multi-layer construction with a soft rubbery urethane cover. It has a solid core and a cover thickness of .30". I have tried many different balls, some of which are the Callaway Diablo, the Callaway HX Hot Plus, and the Nike One Vapor. All of these which I just mentioned are great balls, but I could never turn away from getting the chance to play a Pro V1 or Pro V1x.
  
  
  
  The Pro V1 and Pro V1x have greatly improved all around preformance including more distance off the tee, bite around the greens and improved cover durability so they're a little more worth their buck. Often times when I find a Pro V1 they are still in great condition because of the quality and toughness that they have. Also, I can't hit the ball that far off the tee so the extra distance off the tee is nice. It can also reward you when you hit it well and helps when you hit it bad. Often times when I hit the green I don't hit it by much, so every extra little bit of bite on the greens helps.
  
  
  
  Like many I do not agree with the price of these balls with a retail price of $58.00 a dozen but that doesn't mean you can't play this ball. If you look for Pro V1 x-outs or brand new Pro V1 logo overruns you can get the same quality ball for about $35 a dozen. The only difference between the $58 and the $35 is a miniscule defect in the paint or a misprint of a logo, which would not affect the preformance of the ball. Overall, the Titleist Pro V1 is a great ball used by many tour pros and it is definantly worth trying to get a hold of whenever possible.

  The ProV1 is an excellent ball to play if you're in the single digit handicap range. As much as I would love to play another ball that was cheaper I unfortunately have to suck it up and pay the price in order to play my best.
  
  
  
  Although this is a great ball why in the world would anyone pay more than $50 for a dozen of these balls? Most of the retail golf stores, and sporting good stores, sell this ball for about $45 plus tax. Why pay $60+ and wait for the shipping on these balls?
  
  
  
  Amazon is usually a great place to buy stuff at a discount, however these golf balls are marked WAY above retail so I would highly discourage someone from buying these from Amazon. You would be much better off going through Dick's Sporting, Nevada Bob's, Roger Dunn's, Golfsmith, etc.

  I have read all these reviews and am honestly getting really perturb at how much lying and misinformation is actually being made by Titleist staff members posing as other reviewers using fictitious nicknames and ids. and If anyone posts anything they don't like they smear or deface the review. So they aren't going to like my review. Watch and see they HAVE to try and discredit me it's their job. Titleist balls are ok but are way over priced. What you should do is get a batch of reject or used prov. Reject balls are just painted wrong nothing else is wrong with them, as for used All balls have a limited amount of hits they can take around 100 before they break. Most used balls have 60 hits left in them. And the price for used and reject balls are way cheaper than $60-$100 for a brand new box $20-$40 for used. The production price for a dozen pro-v being $12-$18 a dozen. I have yet to see a hole spit out a golf ball because it was a reject/used ball. I have given these balls out as a gifts and when they find out how little they cost they pay me to buy them again and again for them.
  
  The truth is Acushnet Company and all others pay big bucks to get positive ads online, in newspapers, ads, and they hire people in tournaments/contests and do this by sponsoring as many players as they can. Most Just like the money they get from them but don't really care who's equipment it is. they are paid to say they like it, it's just part of the deal for them. Now These people and ads cost money and Titleist doesn't want us to know they can order rejected/used balls at huge discounts they lose money. Also they don't want you to know that most of what you hear them saying about their balls is all lies and fluff. Truth is there are limits and regulations in all golf tourneys as to what balls and clubs are allowed to be able to do and what they are made of. Because of this and all golf equipment have to follow these guidelines and limitations. No ball is allowed to just go farther than any other because its cheating. It's like corking a bat in baseball . Now all manufacturers test and retest the spin rate of balls on their own products in line with competitors balls and rip them off. This happens so often that lawsuits about patents are commonplace. that's why there is a new design of pro-v. Truth is no ball or club can magically or scientifically correct a bad swing, make your swings straighter or cover lack of practice/talent. Simply put, these are great balls for the average Joe player, myself included. I'm always on the look out for a good recycled ball, or new cheap ball, and these Nike's seem on par with regular performce balls, nothing fancy, but they react fine against the club. And for the price, it's know big deal if you loose a few in the water or rough.

I would, however, would like to suggest the Nike Ignite recycled set more than these. The Ignites, while a few bucks more, seems to go a good 15 yards further for me and feel much better on the greens.

Most of the balls look and play like new. A few had minor superficial discoloration/blemishes but nothing that affects their play on the course. This represents a good value that I will look to purchase again in the future.

I'm a relatively new golfer with a permanent leg injury. My club-head speed is slower than my golf buddies, so I needed the right ball to match. After some research, I decided to try the Nike Karma, but had limited resources for experimentation. I ordered these balls to test my theory and was surprised by the quality. On a recent outing, I hit several shots as good as my mates' and played with same ball through all 18 holes. That's never happened. These balls worked out great for me and I will order more. However, if I play as good as I did recently, it will be a while before I need more.

Honestly, I thought maybe they had made an error and sent me new ones, until i saw a few with some light scratches and one had some corporate logo on it. Seeing as how I am going to hit these with a club anyways, and I paid about a third of the ergular price, I am very pleased! When these run out, I will order more.
